My name is Christie, but most folks call me CeeCee.

I am a Certified Professional Midwife, Hypnobabies Hypno-Doula, and Postpartum Doula.

I became a CPM in 2024 after the birth of my twins and training extensively under Cristi Lewis, Annie Lee, and other accomplished midwives at Acorn Birth Center in Fallbrook, California. I received doula training from DONA and Carriage House. I am also a 200HR Registered Yoga Teacher and certified in Fertility, Assisted Reproduction, and Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga.

Many years ago, I was invited to video a close friend’s birth. The gentle wonder, earthiness, and sweet beginnings of a tiny human moved my spirit. I was an unofficial Doula that day.
I didn’t find out for a really long time that this work had a name. Once I did, it was a no-brainer.: celebrating a baby’s first moments on earth and empowering birthing people was something people actually do with their lives?
Wahoo! DONE.
And from there, I wanted to be able to fully support a birth from a medical perspective, so I became a midwife.

Serving birthing people with professional birth and postpartum services requires extreme dedication. It’s hard work, but it’s worth it!
Maternal health is in crisis, and I believe every family has a right to quality healthcare and a liberating birth.
As a result, I belong to a large community of Doulas and Midwives, whom I draw upon as extended resources for your benefit, and I serve families from all walks of life.

But you know what the most important thing is?

I’m here because I want to be.
